Change4Change

Let's Change the World - With Spare Change!

Sharetrees donation boxes are strategically placed where people can donate their loose change after a purchase, for instance, at ice rinks, small businesses, and stores. We give 100% of this loose change to directly support our community partners: Create Now, Giving Children Hope, the American Heart Association, and the Alzheimer's Association (California Southland chapter).

Jay Shim of Redlands proudly displays change he has collected in his town. Being far from where the bulk of Sharetrees members are located—in Los Angeles and Orange Counties—does not dissuade him from being energetic and enthusiastic about promoting the Sharetrees mission and doing his part as a volunteer.

Sharetrees founder Andrew Chang cashes in the Change4Change collection jars. This money is donated 100% directly to our community partner organizations.

Change4Change is Working

Here are actual Change4Change "boxes" (below) where people have already donated loose change.

Change4Change President

Sky Jung

Sky is a junior at Troy High School in Fullerton. He joined Sharetrees when he was a sophomore. He is a humored, yet reserved student who puts his heart into whatever he is working on. Born in California, he rarely travels, but has gone to Mexico and Kenya on mission and humanitarian trips.

In his free time, Sky fishes, draws, and reads. He volunteers at hospitals during the summer and plays bass guitar for his church. He constantly puts the needs of others before his own, having volunteered for multiple organizations dedicated to disadvantaged communities. Through Change4Change, Sky hopes to be able to make the world a better place through the collective efforts of many.
